Everyone looks forward to having a perfect smile. But factors such as crowded and crooked teeth and gaps between your teeth may end up making it unpleasant. Not only this, but such dental concerns also affect your confidence. Eventually, you become conscious of smiling in public. If misaligned teeth are not treated on time, they lead to other issues such as jaw pain, tooth decay, gum disease, and others. We may recommend Invisalign as a treatment option to restore your smile.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a system of clear plastic aligner trays that we use to straighten your teeth. Upon a visit to our clinic, we will schedule your treatment plan where you will have to upgrade to a new tray every few days, which will help move your teeth to their desired position.
The procedure of Invisalign is straightforward. We will create a visual impression of your teeth with the help of advanced 3D computer-imaging technology. We will then create a model customized as per your teeth and then place it in your mouth. Using this virtual image, you will be able to see a fine comparison of how your teeth will appear after the treatment.

What to Expect After the Procedure?

Once you have begun using Invisalign, you are expected to maintain them to achieve the best results. Continue the oral hygiene practices of brushing, flossing, and rinsing your mouth. You must floss your teeth right after eating food to remove the food particles stuck in them.
You will have to visit our clinic frequently to change the trays as per our prescribed intervals. Each set of aligners plays a crucial role in taking you a step closer to your treatment goal. Once we suggest you discard your old aligner, do not return to wearing them as it may disrupt the treatment.
Just like your teeth, the Invisalign trays, too, are exposed to bacteria and food. Hence, you must clean them as instructed. Do not use denture cleaners to clean your trays. Instead, just put them under the running water. Remove the Invisalign before eating your food or cleaning your teeth. But do not remove them for more than two hours per day.

What are the Benefits of Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible in terms of appearance. Unlike traditional braces, they don’t stand out while helping align your teeth without anyone knowing about them. They are more comfortable than braces and also provide faster results.
